Alpine Rescue Team - 50 Years of Service - 1959 to 2009

In September 2009, ART will celebrate 50 years of mountain rescue service. We are still trying to reconnect and invite all past members to the event, which will be held Sept 25 to 27, 2009. 

The weekend's festivities will begin Friday evening the 25th with a BBQ at the "new" Shack, across from El Rancho. On Saturday we will host an open house at the Shack to be followed by a gala dinner at the Denver West Marriot (east Golden). Sunday will end with an informal open house, again back at the Shack. 

The program is starting to come together as many are starting to work on the effort. We are still working on creating a link on the website established for you to submit short write-ups (include pictures if you have them) of your special team memory. Harry Ledyard has offered to compile and edit a collection of stories to be ready at the celebration. 

We have just posted full details about the event (registration, costs, schedule, etc). 

Also, if you know past members, please have them visit the Alumni section of the the website and register.
