People in Colorado love the outdoors, adventuring nearby mountain peaks, trails and backcountry areas. Unfortunately, sometimes they have a bad day in the mountains resulting in an accident or being lost. That’s where Alpine Rescue Team comes in!
Alpine Rescue Team is a non-profit, all volunteer search & rescue organization serving the Jefferson, Clear Creek, and Gilpin County areas. Our members provide their time, knowledge and equipment FREE OF CHARGE to aid people who have had unfortunate experiences in the mountains.
As a volunteer organization, Alpine Rescue Team relies solely on donations from individuals, community agencies, and our fund raising activities for fiscal viability. These funds are used to maintain our facilities and vehicles, while also providing equipment and insurance for over 60 members.
Please support our annual Little Bear fundraiser on June 25, 2015. This will be our 24th year hosting this fun event filled with music, food, door prizes, and silent auction to raise the essential funds for operating our Team.
